Lot consists of: (A) German Third Reich Heer Dress Sword produced by “F.W. Holler”. The nickel plated steel blade measures 34 - 1/2” in length. The blade remains bright with minimal superficial marks. The makers mark can be seen on the blade near the hilt. The swords ferrule and hilt are made of gilded brass which has light wear and patina throughout,. The black wire wrapped trylon grip is intact and without damage. The black painted steel scabbard retains nearly all of its original factory pant with minor scuffing and wear. CONDITION: Excellent. (B) German Third Reich Police NCO Sword produced by the maker “Julius Krebs”. The maker marked steel blade measures 29” in length, with light greying and marks throughout. The nickel plated steel hand guard and fittings have some minor lifting of the plating in areas and a mild patina buildup. The black lacquered wooden grip features an inlaid police eagle made of zinc. The grip exhibits moderate wear with some lacquer loss in areas. The black painted steel scabbard retains most of it’s original black paint, with scattered light marks throughout. CONDITION: Very good. (C) German Third Reich Eickhorn Promotional Sales Card. The card is double sided, and features the styles of Officer and NCO swords the firm Eickhorn offered at the time. Light scuffs on the edges. CONDITION: Excellent. DMW
