Small brass cannon produced by an unknown manufacturer. Cannon is devoid of markings and measures 10" in length from the cascabel knob to the muzzle, with the width measuring 3 - 1/4" from each end of the trunnions. Carriage is stamped "OFGW / MVM II" beneath its rear axle and measures 6 - 1/2" in length, and 6" in width from the ends of the axles. Carriage is features wood axle pins and brass fittings, with a steel transom for the quoin. Bottom right trunnion nut is not present. CONDITION: Upper half of cannon exhibits a pleasing dark brown patina, with scattered areas of discoloration and varying degrees of pitting overall. Carriage is very good overall, exhibiting dark patina on it's brass accoutrements.
