Touch hole fired 22 - 1/2” brass cannon tube with bore measuring 1 - 3/4” at muzzle. Cannon is mounted on a solid wood naval style carriage with 2 5” diameter wood wheels and brass fittings. The shadow of a data plate, now removed, is located behind the elevator on the carriage. Cannon is marked near breech but is indiscernible. CONDITION: Very good. Brass components exhibit a pleasing mellow patina with some spots of verdigris. Carriage has repaired splits behind the trunnions, which appear to be stable. Wheels are also split but serviceable. Good bore with some light abrasions and verdigris near the muzzle. BAS
