This diminutive signal cannon features an 8 - 1/2" brass barrel with removable breech retained by a cross pin. An external hammer shogun lock has been fitted to fire the cannon. The assembly is mounted to a red and gold painted cast iron carriage with 4" spoke wheels. CONDITION: Good. Majority of paint is retained with marks and spots of loss. Lock requires some attention, with hammer not holding in the cocked position. Hammer also does not strike the firing pin, being set too far back. BAS
