A scarce Fonda, Johnstown & Gloversville RR Star No. 39 double guard, wire bottom model with correct bayonet fount and No. 2 functioning ratchet burner. Lantern is nicely embossed "F J & G R R" on the lid reflector and centered over latch spring. Frame has been cleaned nicely, protected, and is ready for display. The No. 39 globe is an early emerald green extended base type, above average weight, with no markings and only slight evidence of RR wear. Color has beautiful green translucence.
