A Kelly-hallmarked, double guard, brass top, bell bottom model with bayonet base and glass fount. Glass fount has recently applied No. 1 collar and is missing the burner. The base is hallmarked with "Kelly Lamp Co. Rochester and New York" and has 1875 pat. date clearly stamped in. There is one small pin hole in the font area underside of base. The lid reflector is embossed "P&RRR". The frame is clean and protected, has some wrinkles from straightening, and has a wire-brushed appearance in some places. The brass top has a center push in it. The globe is a stunning signal green New England barrel, embossed "P&RRR" in beautiful serif font with nice relief. There are a few chips in the top and bottom fitters, and a possible tight, small crack from one of the base chips in the base fitter, but nothing that would show on this beautiful globe when in the lantern frame. This is a great New England piece and is display ready.

Condition: (Good).

Item Dimensions: 12" x 8" x 8".
