A rare, fixed globe FCLW conductor's model with "Kimball & Hartman patented 1859" hallmark on the base. The base attaches with the unique K&H patented spring feature and has a twin-tube whale oil burner affixed. This unit needs a good cleaning and polish. The clear globe is odd shaped and shows original plaster retention. Several of the wire tied verticals are loose at the base hoop and need to be resoldered. The clear globe is cracked in two places at the top but is not distracting. Nickel plating is very good and shows no brassing. There is a very shallow dent in the flat button finial, not distracting. This rare model has great eye appeal with its unique vent filigree.
