This early model features a unique combination of brass and tin construction. The crown, bail, lid reflector, and base are brass. The rest is tin. The lid secures via a push-button spring in the reflector. There are no hallmarks or dates on the frame. The wire-tied frame is loose at several joints. The tin fount is a Sangster spring plug in type. The burner is No. 1 ratchet style but not original to this unit. The globe is a clear, hand blown, 5" example with "Theo H. Swartwout" engraved. The chimney has a nice keyhole filigree. The whole unit needs some TLC.

Condition: (Good).

Item Dimensions: 10" x 6" x 6".
