A real nice brass conductor's lantern with a clear globe that is copper wheel engraved "P.P.C. Co." in known, small dog bone-style letters. Lantern is brass with a nickel plating showing only on the lid reflector top side. There is some sloppy soldering work evident under the lid. The are two locations where an 1875 pat date stamped in. This points to Kelly, but the unit is not hallmarked as such. The Kelly name is not found in the patent hallmark, so might be after RR Signal Lamp and Lantern assumed NY operations.
Condition: (Excellent).
