Standard configuration Type 94 pistol manufactured at The Chuo Kogyo arsenal in October of 1942. Right side of frame frame bears the date code "17.10" above the arsenal symbol stampings. Left side bears Kanji characters denoting the model designations. Metal components are blued, with the frame being mounted with 2-piece checkered black plastic grips. All numbers are matching with the exception of the magazine, which is mismatched. Complete with period leather holster dated June of 1942. CONDITION: Metal components retain the vast majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting some scattered handling marks as well as some very light surface oxidation on the grip straps. Bore is bright, exhibiting oxidation concentrated towards the muzzle and good rifling throughout. Grips show a few scattered handling marks, with the right panel bearing a small chip. Holster is very good, showing some areas of crazing, but is otherwise fine. MLW
