Measures approximately 8 - 7/8" from kissaki to munemachi. No visible menuki so blade has not been disassembled for precise measurement. Hira-zukri form with iori mune, mu-zori curvature. Hamon with frosty nioi and large visible nie. Silverwashed catscratch habaki with beaded decorations. Hada is not discernible due to polish (looks like it might be masame?), hamon looks to be a very gentle o-notare. Clear turnback at boshi with the tip out of polish, appearing to have been sharpened. Aikuchi style kashira with fuchi flared slightly to help keep water out of saya. Tsuka is wrapped cord, with fuchi and kashira made of horn. No visible menuki, probably underneath the cord. 2 tabs are affixed to the cord and depict florals. Saya with horn koiguchi and koijiri with a red speckled body. Slot for kozuka, kozuka decorated with florals en suite with tabs on tsuka on a roe ground. CONDITION: Blade has a visible hamon but polish does not show every feature such as hada. Kissaki has been cleaned over some spotted oxidation. Mounts are very good, with one tab on fuchi somewhat off. Saya is very good with some cracks (mostly around koijiri), some lifting, exercise caution to avoid further breaks. Well presenting. EMW
