Lot consists of: (A) WWI Model 1918 Mark I brass handled knuckle knife. The knife is marked "Aulion" beneath the correct roaring lion marking on the ricasso. Complete with its correct metal scabbard. CONDITION: The blade remains bright and sharp with scattered scratches. The brass handle exhibits handling wear. The scabbard retains some of its original blued finish but exhibits areas of pitting. Overall very good. (B) WWII M3 fighting knife complete with its original M8 scabbard. The knife features a blued carbon steel 6 - 3/4" spearpoint blade with a 3 - 1/2" secondary blade and is marked "US M3 IMPERIAL". The blade is followed by a steel crossguard with an angular bend at one end in order to facilitate a thumb rest. The handle features a polished, lacquered, and grooved leather grip and is topped with a pommel cap that is properly ordnance marked. CONDITION: The blade retains most of its parkerized finish and exhibits scattered scratches. The grooved leather handle remains tight and exhibits handling wear. The plastic scabbard retains most of its original green paint and exhibits light wear. Overall very good. JLD
