Lot consists of: (A) German World War II Close Combat Clasp in silver. Clasp is unissued and retains most of its original silver wash. The base of the badge is made of zinc with light patina in areas. The reverse of the badge features hardware which is textbook for the manufacturer. 6 pressed dots around the backplate hold it in place. It is these 6 dots which collectors have used to identify the badge a the “6-Dot” maker. CONDITION: Excellent. (B) German World War II Close Combat Clasp in bronze. Clasp is unissued and retains most of its original bronze finish. The base of the badge is made of zinc with light patina in areas, and a few areas of zinc pest. The reverse of the badge features hardware which is textbook for the manufacturer. 6 pressed dots around the backplate hold it in place.
