Double sided metal railroad gate sign showing "New York Express" on each side. Sign shows excellent color throughout with moderate areas of surface scratching and age where in the field as well as heavier where and paint loss along the outer metal framed edge. Although the piece shows wear it displays very well and is a excellent piece of early railroad signage.
