Chilean Contract Model 1895 Mauser bolt action rifle. Made circa 1895 at the Lowe factory in Berlin. Sharp crest on the receiver, and a very sharp "1895" dated cartouche on the left side of the stock. No import marks found. Matching serials throughout, including the cleaning rod. Standard blade front sight and rear ladder adjustable to 2,000 meters. Original blued finish, with the bolt correctly polished. Factory oil finish on the stock as well. CONDIITON: Metal retains 95% of its original finish with light wear and handling marks. Wood has a few dents and scratches. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. JWA
