Manufactured from 1948 to 1957 with this example built on a round butt 3-screw improved I frame. Blued 2" pinned barrel chambered for .38 S&W, ramped front sight, frame notch rear, 5-shot fluted cylinder, case hardened trigger and hammer, and checkered walnut service style stocks with S&W medallions. Housed in a an appropriate 2-piece black box. CONDITION: Excellent. Revolver retains nearly all of its factory applied finishes with some handling marks and a turn line. Excellent bright mirror bore. Crisp mechanics. Box shows some expected wear, especially on the bottom. BAS
