A beautiful and rare table lamp by Handel. The reverse painted shade is etched with an underwater scene in sea green, with coral in pinks, and greens, further decorated with schools of fish. The 15 - 1/2” diameter shade is in excellent condition, free of cracks or chips, with great saturation of color. Signed “Handel 6393”. The base is a gorgeous Handel mermaid base. The three-socket base is finished in a wonderful red-brown patina with verdigris accents. Base is in excellent condition, free of cracks or dents, with felt Handel tag to underside.
