Mauser Model 98 early style hunting rifle made by Mauser at Oberndorf in 1911. Blued 24" round barrel in 8x57 JS with ramp front sight and rear military style flip sight with matching serial number of 44933. Blued action with military style trigger guard with cartridge slot for stripper clip. Matching bolt with 3 position safety and original military style 2 stage trigger. Walnut checkered sporter stock with round knob pistol grip and Mauser logo hard rubber buttplate. CONDITION: 90% plus blue with some remnants of fire blue on bolt release. Gun has light carry and edge wear. Wood has 90% plus original varnish with light handling marks. Excellent bore and mechanics. DLM
