Lot consists of 11 items. (A) Folding camp stool. Black painted wood legs. Carpet seat. CONDITION: Good. Nap to carpet is gone, but canvas fabric is very good. As seen in many Civil War camp photos. (B) Commercial leather haversack, opening like a purse with metal upper frame having key lock. Shoulder belt adjusted by buckle and runs under the bag as well to support weight. Bag is lined. Leather sewn, no rivets. Upper corners of bag connected to sling by brass rings and studs as on sword slings. Small officer style for documents and personal items. The frames are excavated in Civil War camps. CONDITION: Excellent. (C) Minor's patent folding camp lantern. Black paint with gold highlights. Mica panels. CONDITION: Good. Both mica panels in place, one with breaks and losses. Rubbing to paint, but "Minor's Patent" on side visible. One folding handle on back present. (D) One half of interlocking combination mess set. Folding spoon in wood handle. CONDITION: Good, but missing other half with knife and fork. (E) Regulation cap box. Two piece style, missing latch tab and belt loops. Contains pistol bullets. CONDITION: Fair. (F) Regulation early war style infantry enlisted man's belt with standing loop keeper. This pattern was replaced about 1862 by belts using a flat, open C-clasp keeper. CONDITION: Very good. Loop is firmly in place. Overall finish losses. Small glue repair to one hole for belt plate stud. A good, varied collection of Civil War artifacts. (G) Small pocket folding grater CONDITION: Good. (H) Wallet CONDITION: Very good. (I) Fry Patent flask and cup. CONDITION: Very good. (J) Bronze eagle flagstaff finial. CONDITION: Excellent, green tones to upper surface. (K) Brass mould for 2 pisol bullets. CONDITION: Excellent.
