Savage Model 1895 lever action rifle made for Savage Arms Co. by J.M. Marlin Company between 1895 and 1899. Scarce round blued 26" barrel marked "SAVAGE REPEATING ARMS Co." and with German silver sheared blade front sight and rear adjustable buckhorn sight. Blued action with brass counter, bolt inspection hole, case hardened lever, and lever safety. Walnut standard stock with steel crescent buttplate and matching walnut plain forearm. Comes with factory letter stating shipping and destination. CONDITION: 90% fading barrel blue with action having blue in protected areas. Lever worn to silver patina. Wood has light coat of oil added with scratches and dings from usage. Shootable bore with good mechanics. DLM
