Impressive original oil on canvas painting titled "Melody of Serene Beauty" by contemporary Brazilian artist "Ferjo", Fernando de Jesus Oliviera (b. 1946). This particular painting is beautifully executed in vibrant colors and depicts a surrealistic scene of a room interior, with ascending stairs to the left and a door in center, looking out to blue sky and green field. Renoir’s "Woman at the Piano" and Picasso’s "Still Life with Bust, Bowl and Palette" are depicted on the left and right walls as a butterfly floats above various apparently levitating objects, including an egg shell, pencil, fish and the Earth. Signed to the lower middle-right corner "Ferjo". It is beautifully housed within a gold finish wooden frame with linen matting and is in excellent condition. This painting comes with a gallery folder containing a numbered certificate of authenticity from Barry Chappell’s Fine Art Showcase and original purchase invoice.
