British-proofed percussion muzzle-loading whaling gun. 24" Damascus steel barrel with front sight bead and a bore diameter of .91". Stamped at the end of the barrel near the receiver are 2 Birmingham proofs with the number "6" in-between. Birmingham proof on the brass receiver by the trigger guard. Wooden stock with added red rubber recoil pad and black spacer. CONDITION: Excellent overall condition with minor most finish remaining. Attention may be needed with loose stock. Slight handling marks throughout. Excellent bore and good mechanics. GFP.
