A huge original oil on canvas painting titled "Untitled" edition 1/1, by contemporary Brazilian artist Fernando de Jesus Oliviera, better known as Ferjo (b. 1946). This impressive surrealistic painting is nicely executed in a bright colors, depicting a mix of fantasy scene with reality. The interior room view is looking toward the open front door. Paintings by Marc Chagall and Picasso hang on the walls as a monarch butterfly floats overhead. An egg shell, a cat in the wall, fish in the bubble, pencil and spheres float in the air. Signed to the lower-right corner "Ferjo". Nicely presented in a ornate gold finish wood frame with black linen liner and in excellent condition. This painting comes with a folder containing a Certificate of Authenticity from Wentworth Gallery, original purchase invoice and other provenance paperwork.
