Kentucky style halfstock rifle made by Neal N. Ralph in Gallipolis, Ohio circa 1870. 37" octagonal .32 caliber rifled barrel with hunting sights and signed in script "N.N. RALPH" and fitted with 10x John W. Sidle crosshair scope in Lyman micrometer mounts. Golcher made back action percussion lock with double set trigger control. Curly maple dark finished stock with brass hardware and cheekpiece inlay, pewter nosecap, and coin silver hunter's star forearm inlay. CONDITION: As found with metal turning a silvery patina and brass turning a dark mustard color. Scope needs professional cleaning. Pitted bore with good mechanics. DLM
