Produced at the Hopkins & Allen factory with only a few thousand units estimated to have been made in the 1880s. This nickel finished example is fitted with a 3 - 1/2" round barrel marked with 2-line address, blade front sight, v-notch rear sight, 5-shot cylinder, and desirable folding spur hammer. Frame is square butt with lanyard loop and checkered black hard rubber grips. CONDITION: Very good retaining vast majority of the factory applied nickel finish with some minor spots of loss, corrosion, and nicks. Grips very good having a few light abrasions and handling marks. Dark bore retaining well defined rifling. Action requires some attention only functioning consistently as a double action. Matching serial numbers observed on frame, barrel assembly, and cylinder.
