Lot consists of: (A) German World War II Luftwaffe Car Pennant made of painted steel. The black and pink paint is mostly intact, with areas of light rust and marks. The pennant is attached to a silver painted steel rod by 2 aluminum straps which are bolted to the pennant. CONDITION: Excellent. (B) German World War II Kriegsmarine Car pennant. The pennant is made of blue dyed cotton twill, with a gold twist border, and machine embroidered central eagle. The pennant has some very light marks, and a light patina throughout. The pennant measures 11 - 1/2” x 7”. The pennant is attached an original car pennant staff utilizing the pennants clip and lower rope. The staff is 14 - 1/2” in length. The staff retains most of its chrome plating over steel, with some wear in the areas where the clips are. The staff’s top finial is missing. The lower attaching hardware appears intact.
