Lot consists of: (A) German WWII Luftwaffe Flak Badge produced by the maker Juncker. The badge is 2-piece construction with the eagle separately soldered to the top of the wreath. The design of this badge is known as “J2”, for the second pattern of the Juncker made flak badges. The badge retains approximately 80% of its original dark burnishing. The reverse of the badge retains its Juncker style barrel hinge, pin, and round wire “C” catch, which are intact and function properly. Maker marked for the Juncker firm. CONDITION: Excellent. (B) German WWII Close Combat Clasp in Gold by the maker FLL. The badge is produced of die-struck zinc. Most of the gold wash has evaporated over time leaving only remnants on the hardware. The backplate has been replaced post war. Hardware intact and functioning. CONDITION: Very Good. (C) German WWII Infantry Assault Badge in Silver produced in dies struck zinc by the maker FLL. All of the original silver wash has evaporated from the badge, with areas having some zinc pest. Hardware is riveted in place and functioning. A maker mark of FLL is on the reverse of the badge. CONDITION: Good. (D) German WWII High seas Fleet Badge produced of die struck brass by the maker of Schwerin. The badge retains most of its original gold finish to the wreath, silvering on the ship, and dark burnishing on the waves. A nice dual-tone example. This is the “missing port” variant.
