Winchester Model XTR 9422 lever action rifle. Pre-safety rifle made 1972. Matching serials on the receiver and trigger group. Standard markings on the left side of the barrel. Winchester proof on the chamber. Round steel barrel with a hooded ramped blade front sight and buckhorn style u-notch rear. Grooved receiver. Factory blued finish and lacquered wood stock. Checkering on the wrist and forearm is original. Factory checkered plastic butt plate. Original hang tag still attached. Includes an original magazine and some parts. CONDITION: Metal retains 80% of its original finish with general finish wear and handling marks. There are a few spots of heavy finish loss on the right side of the barrel and frame. Wood has handling marks, dents and scratches. Bore is shiny with strong rifling. Mechanically fine. JWA
