Winchester Model 88 lever action rifle. Made 1963 per WCA records. Standard markings on the barrel. Winchester proofs not the barrel and receiver. Round steel barrel with a hooded blade front sight and flip up u-notch rear. Factory drilled and tapped with a Weaver rail installed. Factory blued finish and oil finished wood stock. Fine checkering on the wrist and forearm, with sling studs and swivels present. Checkered plastic butt plate. Includes an original metal magazine. CONDITION: Metal retains 90% of its original finish with light wear and handling marks. Wood is very good with a few handling marks. Bore is clean with strong rifling. Mechanically fine. Magazine is excellent. JWA
