Inland M1 Carbine semi automatic rifle. Made fall of 1943, with an Inland General Motors marked, "11-43" dated barrel. No import marks found. IBM marked front sight, with the rear being Inland production. Stock lug is "W" marked. Internals are mixed, with the slide being Underwood and the trigger group "S'G'" marked. Type 3 band is Inland production. Stock set is post-War, with a boxed "RIA/EB" inspectors cartouche on the left side. Arsenal reapplied parkerized finish. Stock has a light oil finish. Includes attached unmarked white canvas sling and metal oiler along with 2 extra magazines and magazine pouch. CONDITION: Metal retains 98% of its original finish with a few handling marks and scratches. Stock is excellent. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Muzzle erosion reads at a "2". JWA
