Sako Model Classic AIII bolt action rifle with box. Made late 1970s in Finland. Stoeger import mark on the barrel in front of the stock. "MADE IN FINLAND" on the left side of the barrel. Round steel barrel with no iron sights. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Oil finished wood stock with fine checkering on the wrist and forearm. Factory rubber butt pad. Includes attached leather sling and a Nikon 3 - 9x40 scope with Sako style rings. The original serial matching box is also included. CONDITION: Metal retains 95% or more of its original finish with a few handling marks. Wood is excellent. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. Scope has some exterior wear, but optic remains crisp, with a clear crosshair reticle. Box is excellent. JWA
