Winchester 9422 XTR Classic lever action rifle with box. Made 1980s in the United States. Pre-safety model. Standard markings, with a Winchester proof on the chamber. Round steel barrel with hooded ramped blade front sight and a buckhorn u-notch rear. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Grooved receiver. Oil finished, walnut stock and forearm, with a capped pistol grip. Factory smooth plastic butt plate. No added sling swivels. Factory hang tag is still attached. Includes matching factory box and papers. CONDITION: Metal retains 98% of its original finish with little signs of use. Factory grease can still be seen in areas. Wood is excellent as well. Bore is clean with crisp rifling. Looks to be unfired from the factory. Mechanically fine. Box is excellent. JWA
