Scarce 6" nickel plated .22 LR Diamondback Revolver manufactured by Colt. The left side of the barrel is stamped "DIAMONDBACK/ .22 LONG RIFLE", with the right side bearing Colt's single line address. Left side of frame bears the Rampant Colt logo and "VP" proof. Features include a nickel plated finish, 6" vent rib barrel, ramp front sight, blued target adjustable rear sight, and 2-piece Colt gold medallion checkered wood grips. This example is accompanied by its matching factory box that contains factory paperwork, a Colt sight adjustment tool, as well as its styrofoam insert. CONDITION: Near new, with metal components retaining virtually all of their original factory nickel plated finish, with only a light dragline around the cylinder. Mirror bore, exhibiting well defined rifling throughout. Grips are excellent. Wood grain factory cardboard box is very good, exhibiting some creasing around the corners and some light wear overall. A very attractive and high condition example of a scarce 6" nickel plated Colt Diamondback .22 LR revolver. MLW
