German World War II award presented to Luftwaffe General Otto Dessloch in 1944 from the anti-aircraft barracks in Munich. Engraved plate states "General Dessloch zur Erinnerung von der Flak-Kaserne Munchen - Freimann 1944". General Dessloch was awarded the Honor Goblet of the Luftwaffe and the Knights Cross of the Iron Cross with Oakleaves, and his biography can be found on the internet. A gray darkened brass 88mm Flak 38 anti-aircraft gun is mounted to a diamond shaped piece of granite, and is marked "Krupp" on 2 of its 4 legs, and presents only light wear. The Flak 38 traverses and elevates, and both hydraulic pistons function. Great wartime model of the famous 88. CONDITION: Overall excellent. WEZ
