Lot consists of: (A) Posing nude woman made of a white-metal base with remnants of silver plating and possible gold wash. Light marks can be seen in a few areas. The statue is unmarked. The statue remains affixed to its metal pedestal base, has movement from side to side, and has at one time been glued to the base. The base is made of a non-magnetic white metal as well, with most of its dark grey paint remaining. The Olympic Games symbol and “Germany” is carved into the base behind the posing woman, and to her left side is the swastika and the year of the Olympic Games “1936”. CONDITION: Very good. (B) Decorative Porcelain plate with painted depiction of the pre-War “Haus Wachenfeld”, which is how the building was known before Hitler purchased the house and renamed it the “Berghof”. The Berghof was Hitler’s primary residence during the Third Reich. There are no chips or cracks that cans be observed. The reverse of the plate is marked for the firm “Rosenthal” with their crossed swords and crown logo. The plate is dedicated “Haus Wachenfeld, (Obersalzberg)” on the reverse as well. Smile metal wire hanger attached. CONDITION: Near mint. DMW
