Marlin Model 1894 Classic lever action rifle. Cross bolt safety gun made in the 1990s. Standard markings, with a "JM" stamp on the left side of the chamber. Round steel barrel with blade front sight and flip up buckhorn style rear leaf. The frame is factory drilled for a scope base and has an added Lyman adjustable rear peep. Half tube magazine. Factory blued finish. Oil finished straight grip wood stock and forearm. Butt stock is inletted for a sling stud. Plastic butt plate. CONDITION: Metal retains 95% of its original finish with a few handling marks. Wood has a few handling marks and scratches. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine.
