Made July 1942. Barrel is Springfield production, dated "8-65" with a DOD Eagle stamp as well. Right lug of the receiver is marked "RRAD/11-65". Operating rod is "NM" marked and "RA" production. Trigger group and bolt are Springfield production. Faint Springfield Arsenal cartouche on the left side of the stock. "P" and a circled "P" firing proofs on the wrist. Standard sights and later style gas plug. Rear sight is "IHC" marked. Arsenal reparkerized finish. Stock was lightly sanded and oiled at some point. Includes attached green canvas sling and a Utica Cutlery marked M1 bayonet with scabbard. CONDITION: Metal retains 95% of its reapplied parkerized finish with light wear. Wood is excellent. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Muzzle gauges at a "1", throat at a "0". Mechanically fine. Bayonet is excellent. Blade has not been sharpened. Scabbard is excellent.
