1978 vintage Colt Single Action Army, serial number 93630SA. 7 - 1/2" round barrel with single line Colt barrel address chambered in .45 Colt with blade front sight and frame notch rear. Factory engraved with scroll on a punch dot background covering about 25% of the barrel, the front of each chamber, both sides of gas shield, each side of the frame, and approximately 25% of the backstrap. Marked as Colt engraved on inside of trigger guard on left side underneath grips. Color case hardened frame with bright hammer. 2-piece checkered hard rubber factory 3rd generation grips featuring a Rampant Colt and an eagle on either side. Complete with red velvet lined, fitted wooden case with factory paperwork. Outside of case is inscribed to the 1978 Top Gun Buckeye Divisional Champion, Chuck Frendt, indicating this was originally given as a prize. CONDITION: Excellent+, and near mint with virtually all of the original finishes remaining. Minor storage freckling on left side of hammer near top. Cylinder does not have a dragline. Grips are complete with no major signs of distress. Bore is bright with well defined rifling. Case is excellent.
