Model 1920 Commercial Luger manufactured by DWM from a variety of surplus, refurbished, and new components for commercial sales after the conclusion of World War I. Left side of receiver bears a "(Crown) / N" nitro proof, which is also present on the bottom of the barrel and left side of breechblock. Left side of frame is stamped "GERMANY". Toggle bears the intertwined "DWM" monogram. Matching numbers are present on the frame, takedown lever, sideplate, trigger, barrel, and rear toggle link, with remaining components being unnumbered. CONDITION: Metal components retain the vast majority of their factory-applied blue finish, exhibiting some areas of wear and areas of thinning overall that show through to a pleasant brown patina. Strawed components retain good amounts of their finish, showing spots of age-related discoloration in worn areas. Bore is bright, exhibiting oxidation and good rifling throughout. Grips show some smoothing and scattered impressions to the checkering but are otherwise sturdy and serviceable.
