Standard configuration Type 14 Nambu manufactured at the Kokubunji arsenal under the supervision of Nagoya. Right side of frame bears stampings stipulating the manufacturer as well as the date code "10.6", indicating manufacture in June of 1935, with the left bearing Kanji characters denoting the model designation. Major metal components are blued, with some smaller components being strawed. All numbers are matching, with the exception of the firing pin which is unnumbered and the magazine which is mismatched. Interior of grips are matching via the last three digits in pencil. CONDITION: Metal components retain the vast majority of their original arsenal blue finish, exhibiting a few areas of wear and thinning, as well as some scattered handling marks overall. Frame exhibits a few spots of oxidation, with moderate freckling on the grip straps. Strawed components retain good amounts of their finish, exhibiting varying degrees of wear overall and spots of age-related discoloration in worn areas. Mirror bore, exhibiting well-defined rifling throughout. Grips show a few minor handling marks but are otherwise fine.
