Inland M1 Carbine semi-automatic rifle with box and accessories. Made 1942. Barrel is Inland, being made "11-42". Blue Sky import mark on the left side. Type III band, front sight, milled rear sight and operating rod are all Inland marked. Bolt is unmarked. Hammer is Underwood. Stock is a Irwin production replacement. 4 rivet hand guard is unmarked. Most parts were reparkerized at some point. Wood stock has been sanded at some point, and has light oil finish with a faint circled "P" firing proof on the wrist. 3 30 round blued steel magazines are included. 1 is marked "M2" on the back, while others are unmarked. Includes the Blue Sky importer cardboard box, manual, attached unmarked canvas sling, oiler and 2 M4 bayonets. 1 is Aerial production, the other Imperial. Scabbards are both later replacements. CONDITION: Metal retains 90% of its parkerized finishes with mild wear and handling marks. Wood has minor handling marks and scratches. The tip of the hand guard is starting to chip. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Muzzle reads at a "2.5". Mechanically fine. Magazines have light surface rust. Sling and box are excellent. Bayonets are fair, with the scabbard on the imperial being completely broken off on the bottom. Blade on the Aerial has not been sharpened, while the Imperial has.
