Colt Single Action Army revolver. Made 1874. The barrel looks to be a replacement, and bears no markings. Two line patent dates on the left side of the frame. Spurious "U.S." markings on the left side of the frame. Matching serials on the butt, frame and trigger guard. Cylinder is not numbered or marked. Round steel barrel with blade front sight and u-notch rear. Reapplied blued finish on the metal components. Oil finished wood grip. CONDITION: Metal retains 60% of its applied finishes, with light wear and handling marks. Barrel has some light surface rust. Grips have a few handling marks and scratches.
