Lot consists of 3 items: (A) Japanned tin cylinder with cap containing 8 rolls of Maynard tape primers. Patented by Dr. Edward Maynard, these were used in the 1855 series of US arms and were intended to replace separate percussion cap primers by using a waterproof paper strip of primer fed out over the nipple. CONDITION: Very good. Wear to the finish of the cap. 7 rolls intact and unopened. 1 opened, very good for display. (B) Copper and brass small pocket or case flask for a pocket revolver. CONDITION: Very good. No dents. Blue on spring. Nice patina. (C) Medium size bag shape flask for larger revolver or single shot pistol. CONDITION: Very good. Nice patina. Nice blue on spring.
