Manufactured 1913. Blade front sight and notch rear sights. Left side of slide with "PATENTED / APR.20.1897 DEC.22.1903", "COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. / HARTFORD, CT. U.S.A." with rampant Colt at rear. Right side of slide marked "AUTOMATIC COLT / CALIBRE 32 RIMLESS SMOKELESS" under ejection port. Left side of frame with serial number, left side of trigger guard with Colt VP proof and "R" subinspector proof. Hard rubber grips with "COLT" in banner, with rampant colt. Heel magazine release. Housed in a faux leather case with an impressed piece of unidentified heraldry, and containing a box of Kleanbore .32 ACP 71 grain ammo, die, and a second magazine. CONDITION: Very good, retaining the vast majority of the Colt factory high polish blue, a with some silvering to high edges and muzzle, and some areas of handling marks. Some surface scratches are visible throughout, right side of muzzle has a more significant area of scratches. Some silvering to reciprocating areas. Grips are very good, free of cracks of chips. Mechanically fine, bore is very good with strong rifling and light frosting. Box is good with some rubs through faux leather to high edges. Accessories are very good, ammunition with some age related corrosion throughout. EMW
