German World War II Luftwaffe officer (2nd Lieutenant) flying branch (aircrew or Fallschirmjager) 4-pocket tunic (Tuchrock) made from tricot blue-gray wool with light wear and damage. Both sleeves and the upper left pocket are made from a slightly bluer wool than the rest of the tunic. The officer bullion breast eagle and collar tabs appear to have been added postwar. The shoulder boards have been added postwar and are not attached properly, as the buttons are sewn to the boards and not the tunic, and the boards are sewn directly to the tunic. The tunic is fully lined in a gray rayon with light wear, no markings, name, or inner pockets. CONDITON: Overall very good to excellent. WEZ
