Beautiful example of a World War II US Navy Australian made 3" pinback submarine badge. The badge is hallmarked "BRONZE" and "WALLACE BISHOP / BRISBANE" on the reverse. Wallace Bishop is an Australian company that is based in Brisbane, Australia, and was given a contract to manufacture badges and awards for the US military during World War II. The company remains in business and is one of Australia's leading jewelers. Australian made US insignia is always desirable. CONDITION: The badge is clean overall with small areas of light tarnishing. Overall very good. JLD
