Weatherby bolt action magazine rifle made when Weatherby first started at Southgate, California between 1949 and 1963. 24" blued tapered barrel in .270 Weatherby with no sights. Blued FN Mauser action with side safety, blued quick detachable floorplate, action fitted with Bausch and Lomb Balvar 8x scope in Bausch and Lomb base. Red stained California style skip line checkered Monte Carlo Stock with rosewood swelled grip cap and rosewood contrasting forend tip and Weatherby pad. CONDITION: 95% original blue with some light handling marks. 90% original varnish with some usage dings and marks. Excellent bore and mechanics with clear optics. DLM
