Measures 14 - 15/16" from from tip of kissaki to munemachi. Shinogi zukuri form with polished out. Iori mune. Hada and hamon are obscured by an amateur polish. Suriage nakago with single mekugi-ana, kiri yasurime and kiri nakagojiri. Copper habaki. Housed in a saya with lacquered pine needle decoration. Horn koiguchi. Slot for kogai/kozuka, reverse with slot for kurikata, broken off. Tag reading "W-27 / 38.0" on body. Metal koijiri with textured ground. Same wrapped tsuka with 2 holes for mekugi-ana that do not line up with nakago. CONDITION: Details of blade have been obscured by amateur polish that has left surface scratches and clouding throughout. Some ware is visible throughout. Saya has numerous scrapes and chips throughout, including where kurikata and kozuka slot were damaged, and a long crack along cutting edge.
