Measures 15 - 3/4" from tip of kissaki to munemachi. Shinogi zukuri form with torii-zori architecture. Chu-kissaki. Hada not visible due to polish, hamon is a gunome midare. Mumei nakago with ha agari kurijiri nakagojiri. Yasurime is a mixture of kuri at top and katte sagari. Single mekugi-ana that appears to have been repunched at some point to widen hole. Black enamel painted habaki with evidence of catscratch decoration under enamel. Housed in a black saya with slots for kozuka and kogai. CONDITION: Blade has had an amateur attempt at polish which has obscured some of the finer details and left clouding and surface scratches throughout. Hagire and what looks like shinae in boshi. Ha with several microchips and a few deeper chips. One area of what resembles crazing near hamachi. Saya has kurikata broken off, koiguchi damaged at rear. Body of saya with numerous scrapes and bumps throughout.
