Weatherby South Gate bolt action rifle chambered in .257 Weatherby Magnum. US manufactured on an FN supreme Mauser action and using a Timken 24" barrel. Left side of barrel reads "WEATHERBY .257 MAGNUM" and left side of receiver reads "WEATHERBY SOUTH GATE CALIF.". Encircled FN marking under the serial on right side of the receiver. Attached Leupold Pioneer 8x scope with a 1-piece Buehler scope base and rings. Skip-line checkered Monte Carlo stock with traditional Weatherby forend and pistol grip caps. Front and rear sling swivel studs and ventilated Weatherby recoil pad. CONDITION: Excellent overall with almost all original bluing remaining. Stock seems to have been refinished. Light handling marks throughout. Bright bore and good rifling. Good mechanics. GFP.
